Rashonda P. Davis is the proud owner of Balance Skin + Wellness Advanced Aesthetics and the founder of Those Dope Chicks, PBC, a public benefit corporation focused on empowering communities through beauty, wellness, and purpose-driven initiatives. With over 12 years of experience as a licensed aesthetician, she specializes in advanced skincare treatments and laser operations while fostering connections beyond the treatment room. Her career in esthetics has been deeply fulfilling, combining her passion for beauty with a commitment to uplifting others, especially within the Communities of Melanin. Through Those Dope Chicks, PBC, Rashonda aims to create opportunities for women, celebrate diversity, and promote inclusivity in the beauty and wellness industries. As the parent company of Balance Skin + Wellness, this vision is integrated into every service, which focuses on empowerment and purpose. The services, including melanin-inclusive skincare and advanced aesthetic treatments, are designed to make clients feel seen, celebrated, and confident in their skin.​ Rashonda holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Sociology and Mass Communications from Lamar University, along with post-graduate education in Business Administration. Her path to esthetics began after discovering her calling while administering her first facial. This led her to establish Balance Skin + Wellness, where she shares the joy of self-care with others. Trained by Aveda, Rashonda is committed to staying at the forefront of the esthetic industry, using the latest technologies and skincare advancements. She is also a certified Master Neurotoxin Injector, Phlebotomist, and Medical Assistant. Her commitment to serving the Black community in the esthetic industry is central to her mission. She prioritizes the specific needs of melanated skin and ensures an inclusive environment at Balance Skin + Wellness. Through ongoing education and specialized care, she helps clients achieve their best skin health and confidence. Rashonda’s work extends beyond skincare, focusing on empowerment and connection. She creates a space where clients feel valued and leave with a sense of empowerment.
